Job Summary
To support a local Health Plan, the temporary part-time California Licensed Grievance Coordinator will manage grievance documentation, ensure compliance with standards, and communicate with members and providers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Receives and identifies grievances through various sources and reviews documentation for accuracy
- Monitors and tracks grievances to ensure resolution within mandated timeframes
- Acts as a contact person during state audits related to grievances and prepares routine reports for stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 3+ years' experience as a Service Representative or similar position
- 1+ year experience as a Grievance Coordinator
- Medi-Cal experience and strong knowledge of medical policy benefits
- Associates Degree or at least 2 years of post-high school education
- Advanced skills in Word and Excel, with experience in Outlook and MS Teams
