Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Legal Operations to manage its legal function in a startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and expand a nationwide attorney network for probate and estate settlement activities
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, partners, and third parties
• Coordinate with external counsel on various legal matters and develop internal legal processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing outside counsel and vendor contracts
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction (California bar preferred)
• Experience in estate planning or probate law preferred but not required
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
