California Licensed Headache Physician

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time California Licensed Headache Physician will provide virtual consultations, develop personalized treatment plans, and mentor advanced practice providers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide virtual consultations and follow-up care to patients with migraine and other headache disorders
• Interpret headache histories and diagnose according to ICHD-3 criteria
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans and engage in shared decision-making with patients

Required qualifications

• MD or DO, licensed in California or Texas
• Completed a Headache Medicine fellowship or UCNS certified
• At least 1-2 years of clinical experience treating patients with migraine and headache disorders
• Proficient in or willing to oversee procedures like Botox for chronic migraine and nerve blocks
• Comfortable in a virtual-first care model with a compassionate approach to patient care
