California Licensed Health Equity Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Health Equity Specialist responsible for ensuring compliance with health equity regulations and implementing culturally appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage programs to maintain compliance with contracts and regulations
• Develop strategies and policies for culturally and linguistically appropriate services
• Represent the health plan to regulators and accreditation agencies, and manage community advisory committees

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology, Social Work, Medical Anthropology, Public Health, or related field; Master's preferred
• 5+ years of experience in government, health, or community programs
• Experience in managed care preferred
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and health equity initiatives
• Experience in developing and implementing health programs
