California Licensed Healthcare Security Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Security Architect - HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead the design and deployment of security controls and evaluate current security capabilities
• Serve as a technical security advisor and lead security architecture reviews and vendor evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience in information security or infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in a security architecture role
• Strong understanding of HIPAA Security Rule, HITECH, and PHI protection requirements
• Experience designing secure architectures for cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with security tools (EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM/MFA, DLP, firewalls, vulnerability management)
