Job Summary

Proactively soliciting new residential mortgage loans, the part-time California Licensed Home Loan Advisor will develop and maintain a strong network of business relationships to generate referrals while providing exceptional service and managing the loan process remotely from Carlsbad, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans through self-sourced business and maintain a lead management system
• Assist members with product selection, lock requests, and ensure compliance with applicable disclosures
• Manage the mortgage loan pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient processing from origination to closing

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience; four-year college degree preferred
• Minimum five years of experience in a mortgage-related function, with at least two years generating self-sourced business
• Current MLO registration as defined by the S.A.F.E Act
• Strong knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and compliance
• Exceptional member service skills and ability to conduct financial analysis
