California Licensed HR Consultant

Job Summary

Providing expert guidance to client leaders and employees, the part-time California Licensed HR Consultant will focus on performance management, employee relations, and labor relations in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Consults with client leaders and employees on performance management processes and develops action plans for performance gaps
• Conducts internal investigations related to workplace issues and collaborates with HR teams to ensure effective resolution
• Interprets client policies and procedures, providing insights and recommendations for complex HR situations

Required qualifications

• B.A. in Business or Social Sciences
• 3 to 6 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a lead or specialist role
• Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution
• Strong knowledge of California labor law and federal employment regulations
• Experience diagnosing and resolving performance issues
