California Licensed HR Executive Director

Job Summary

Serving as a strategic and operational HR leader, the full-time California Licensed HR Executive Director will manage workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement across a portfolio of arenas, stadiums, and theaters in a remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Align HR strategy with business priorities and support workforce planning for seasonal and event-based staffing
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions
• Champion a strong, inclusive culture and drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to diverse workforce needs

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience in multi-site or operational environments
• Experience in hospitality, sports & entertainment, or other high-volume workforce settings preferred
• Proven experience in unionized environments and managing large, distributed workforces
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws
