California Licensed HR Generalist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and personable, the California Licensed HR Generalist will manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration, while working fully remote from Southern California or Phoenix, Arizona.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offers
• Lead new hire onboarding and orientation, while administering employee benefits programs
• Ensure compliance with California and federal employment law and maintain HRIS records for data accuracy

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 2-4 years of HR generalist experience, with a preference for California employment law experience
• Working knowledge of California labor law, including wage & hour and leave laws
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification is a plus
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Paylocity, or BambooHR
