California Licensed HR Generalist
Job Summary
To support a multi-state workforce, the part-time California Licensed HR Generalist will manage the new hire process, maintain employee records, and serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the full new hire process, including onboarding logistics and background checks
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and with the Professional Employer Organization (PEO)
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and support day-to-day compliance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of human resources experience in a generalist or coordinator role
- Working command of California employment fundamentals, including wage and hour requirements
- Direct experience with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information
- Sound judgment and disciplined organizational practices
