California Licensed Immigration Attorney
Job Summary
To support high-volume U.S. business immigration operations, the fully remote Immigration Counsel will provide strategic legal advice, oversee the preparation and filing of immigration petitions, and conduct legal research while working 40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-volume strategic legal advice on complex immigration matters to visa-dependent employees and business groups
- Oversee the preparation and filing of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications, ensuring legal compliance
- Conduct legal research related to immigration law and summarize findings into concise legal memoranda
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor or international equivalent degree
- 3+ years of experience as an attorney in business immigration law, specifically with technology clients
- Experience with a full suite of non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes, including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1s
- Prior private practice experience of at least 3 years
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and outside counsel on complex legal issues
