California Licensed In-House Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an In-House Litigation Counsel with Labor & Employment Experience (contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Handle in-house legal compliance audits with HR and/or recruiting teams
• Assist in overseeing strategy and defense of labor & employment litigation matters in California state and federal courts
• Manage outside counsel related to existing litigation

Required Qualifications

• At least eight years of litigation experience, with both law firm and in-house experience preferred
• Experience handling in-house legal compliance audits with HR and/or recruiting teams
• Experience managing and litigating labor & employment cases
• Handling labor & employment matters in California is strongly preferred
• J.D. from an accredited, preferably top-tier, law school
