California Licensed Incentive Specialist

Job Summary

To support customers in maximizing solar and energy storage incentives, the part-time California Licensed Incentive Specialist will manage application processes, ensure compliance with program requirements, and coordinate with vendors while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of incentive applications, including documentation, submission, and approval
• Guide customers through compliance requirements to maintain program eligibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify data for incentive submissions

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with solar and/or energy storage incentive programs
• Demonstrated knowledge of California's Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP)
• Experience managing vendors or third-party processors for compliance
• Familiarity with demand response programs and utility rate structures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
