California Licensed Industrial Hygienist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Industrial Hygienist to integrate EHS expertise into biomanufacturing technology transfer initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate Safety, Health, and Environmental risks during product and process transfers
• Conduct gap analyses and risk assessments for technical transfers, recommending engineering controls
• Develop and deliver specialized training on hazard awareness and compliance with safety controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Life Science, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health and/or Industrial Hygiene regulations and standards
• Experience in risk assessment, exposure monitoring, and developing control solutions
• Proven ability to evaluate complex chemical processes for hazard identification
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry preferred
