California Licensed Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst (Temporary).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze information security practices to ensure alignment with industry standards
• Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches detected by security solutions
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of information security policies and conduct staff training

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of eight years of professional-level IT experience, including three years in information security within a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FISCAM security guidelines, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Experience with security tools and concepts, including firewalls, SIEM, and network penetration testing
• CISSP or CISM certification is a plus
