California Licensed Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time California Licensed Information Security Analyst will monitor and address security alerts, resolve reported issues, and conduct security training and awareness campaigns while contributing to the development of information security policies in accordance with NIST CSF and HIPAA.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to information security alerts and incidents
• Conduct security training and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of information security policies and standards

Required qualifications

• 3 years of combined education and experience in computing and information security
• Basic knowledge of security events and alert response activities
• Ability to self-organize, prioritize tasks, and find creative solutions
• General knowledge of desktop, server, application, database, network, and security roles
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
