Job Summary
As a full-time remote California Licensed Information Security Officer, the successful candidate will coordinate cybersecurity requirements across university departments, assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity standards, and contribute to training programs while ensuring compliance with data security practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement cybersecurity standards and procedures in collaboration with university departments
- Conduct regular risk assessments and assist in emergency procedures for handling security incidents

Required qualifications
- 4 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and leadership roles
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Proficiency in information technology infrastructure and cybersecurity tools
- Relevant professional certifications or progress towards attainment (e.g., GCIH/GSEC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC)
