Job Summary

A company is looking for a HB Inpatient Second Level Reviewer.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, audit, and remediate deviations from compliant inpatient facility coding
• Train coding staff and educate workforce members on coding, grouping, and documentation
• Ensure data integrity and denial avoidance related to coding, and represent coding leadership in interdisciplinary meetings

Required Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of related auditing experience or a Bachelor's Degree plus three (3) years of auditing experience
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, including billing and collections
• Current credentials as RHIT, RHIA, or CCS preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of inpatient facility auditing experience
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma & Academic/Research Facility is a plus
