California Licensed Inpatient Review Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Review Nurse (Must have California LVN / RN License).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reviews of inpatients with complex medical and social problems
• Generate referrals to contracted ancillary service providers and community agencies
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care activities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum 3 years of general case management experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a managed care setting as an inpatient case manager
• Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program
• Must have and maintain an active, valid, and unrestricted LVN or RN license in California
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree
