California Licensed Inpatient Review Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Review Nurse (California LVN or RN License Required).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reviews of inpatients with complex medical and social problems
• Generate referrals to contracted ancillary service providers and community agencies
• Monitor, document, and report pertinent clinical criteria as established per UM policy

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 3 years of general case management experience
• Two years of experience utilizing Milliman Care Guidelines in a managed care setting
• Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program
• Must have and maintain an active, valid, and unrestricted LVN or RN license in California
• Preferred: Associates or Bachelor's Degree
