California Licensed Inpatient Review Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Inpatient Review Nurse (California LVN or RN License Required).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reviews of inpatients with complex medical and social problems
• Generate referrals to ancillary service providers and community agencies in collaboration with the patient's primary care physician
• Monitor and document clinical criteria, ensuring appropriate level of care and continued stay based on evidence-based guidelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum 3 years of general case management experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a managed care setting as an inpatient case manager
• Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program
• Must have and maintain an active, valid, and unrestricted LVN or RN license in California
• Preferred: Associates or Bachelors Degree
