California Licensed Inpatient Review Nurse

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time California Licensed Inpatient Review Nurse to work remotely, who will manage patient care coordination through collaboration with healthcare providers, perform inpatient reviews, and ensure appropriate service levels while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform reviews of inpatients with complex medical and social problems
• Generate referrals to ancillary service providers and community agencies in collaboration with primary care physicians
• Monitor and document clinical criteria and communicate progress of cases to management

Required qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted LVN or RN license in California
• Minimum of 3 years of general case management experience, including 2 years in a managed care setting
• Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program
• Knowledge of Medicare Managed Care Plans
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze statistical reports
