California Licensed Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Insurance Defense Trial Attorney, the full-time remote position will represent a nationwide insurance carrier in litigation, focusing on trials, hearings, and developing defense strategies for complex cases.

Key responsibilities:

• Represent the company in insurance defense litigation, conducting trials, hearings, depositions, and motion practice
• Develop and implement defense strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Manage all aspects of trial preparation, including discovery, legal research, and drafting pleadings and motions

Required qualifications:

• Must be a member in good standing with the California State Bar
• Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including trial experience
• Extensive knowledge of California civil procedure, insurance law, and relevant case law
• Strong courtroom presence with effective jury argument skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and work collaboratively within a team
