Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Insurance Defense Attorney for a long-term contract engagement, the position will manage all phases of medical malpractice and insurance defense litigation while working in a hybrid/remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of medical malpractice and insurance defense litigation
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of medical malpractice and/or insurance defense litigation experience
- Experience handling all aspects of civil litigation from case inception through resolution
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Active admission to the California Bar (required)
