Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the fully remote California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently while communicating with patients and providers.

Key responsibilities
  • Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
  • Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
  • Work with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation for timely care
Required qualifications
  • One (1) year of relatable work experience
  • High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a related field such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
  • Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives
