California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patient access to care, the full-time California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure efficient service setup while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
• Work with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare organizations, pharmacy, HME, or Medicare-certified environments is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
