California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patient access to care, the full-time California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup while working remotely in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities, collect payments, and document interactions accurately
• Work with referral sources and internal teams to obtain complete documentation and facilitate the intake process

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare organizations, pharmacies, or medical supply environments is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
