California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the fully remote California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup while navigating insurance requirements and confirming eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
• Work with referral sources and internal teams to obtain complete documentation and facilitate the intake process

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, required
• Experience in administrative, clerical, insurance, or customer service roles preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives
