California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the fully remote California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently while working on Eastern or Central Standard/Daylight Time.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
• Work with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a related field required
• Experience in management, administrative, or customer service roles preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures
