California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patient access to care, the remote California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and collect payments as needed
• Work with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation for timely care

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience required
• Experience in healthcare organizations, pharmacy, HME, or Medicare-certified environments is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives
