California Licensed Intake Therapist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Pediatric Mental Health Intake Therapist (Virtual) - 1099 Independent Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students and their guardians
• Collaborate with other therapists to facilitate successful transitions into services
• Provide culturally relevant and age-appropriate counseling as needed

Required Qualifications

• Licensed as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) without restrictions
• Licensed in Iowa for a minimum of 3 years and possess an additional license in specified states or be eligible to apply
• Willingness to be enrolled with insurance companies, including Medicaid
• Knowledge of treatment strategies for children's mental health needs
• Experience and education in clinical practice areas
