Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Intellectual Property Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the enterprise-wide intellectual property strategy
• Serve as the primary IP legal advisor to executive leadership and collaborate with various teams to protect and monetize IP assets
• Align IP strategy with business objectives and manage risk to strengthen competitive positioning

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 15 years of intellectual property law experience, including in-house experience at a technology company
• Deep expertise in U.S. patent law and practice, including patent prosecution and portfolio strategy
• Proven ability to operate at the executive level and translate complex IP concepts into business guidance
• Experience managing global patent and trademark portfolios and outside counsel relationships
