Job Summary

To support corporate development objectives, the full-time Senior Director, Sr. Corporate Counsel, IP will develop and execute global patent strategies, conduct IP due diligence for acquisitions and collaborations, and provide strategic IP advice to senior leadership, with the option to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a critical IP advisor for acquisitions, licensing transactions, and collaborations
• Conduct comprehensive IP due diligence and prepare actionable findings for executive leadership
• Develop and manage global patent portfolios aligned with product development and commercialization strategies

Required qualifications

• Fully qualified U.S. Patent Attorney or Agent with 10+ years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Undergraduate degree in biological sciences, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Significant experience leading IP due diligence for strategic corporate transactions
• Deep expertise in patent portfolio development and lifecycle management
• Proven ability to influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and build trusted partnerships
