Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Principal IP Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute creation and management of intellectual property and prepare a global patent portfolio
• Interface with R&D and business development teams to align IP strategies with business objectives
• Support IP due diligence for mergers/acquisitions and assist in drafting and negotiating IP agreements

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally accredited law school
• 8+ years of experience in intellectual property law
• Licensed to practice in at least one US state or the District of Columbia
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or similar scientific disciplines (preferred)
