California Licensed IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance IT security measures, the full-time California Licensed IT Security Analyst will perform risk assessments, develop remediation plans, and implement security standards while working onsite in Huntington Beach, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and security analyses to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks
• Develop and implement IT security standards and best practices to ensure user satisfaction
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all security systems and configurations

Required qualifications

• CISSP or SANS GIA certification is a plus
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in information technology security or equivalent education and experience
• Strong knowledge of network security elements, including TCP/IP, Firewalls, and IPS/IDS
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as UTM, IPS, and IDS
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed
