Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Lab Operations (Soil Chemistry).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of high-throughput soil labs, focusing on soil nutrient and carbon analysis
• Develop and implement workflows for managing the Soil Science team and ensure quality work delivery
• Oversee lab automation, data quality control, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in soil science, soil chemistry, agronomy, environmental science, chemistry, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in soil chemistry, carbon analysis, or laboratory operations, with 4-5 years in a leadership role
• Hands-on experience with elemental analyzers and core soil lab equipment
• Proven ability to design and improve lab workflows with a focus on automation and quality
• Advanced user of AI tools for productivity and lab operations
