California Licensed Laboratory Technologist

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Laboratory Technologist, the part-time position will perform point-of-care testing in a remote or mobile laboratory setting, including venipuncture and maintaining quality control.

Key responsibilities

• Perform point-of-care testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular & Coagulation
• Monitor quality control and troubleshoot instrumentation as needed
• Enter patient information, test orders, and results into the laboratory information system

Required qualifications

• Laboratory experience with point-of-care testing preferred
• Comfortable performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections
• Able to monitor QC and recognize abnormal or questionable results
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety and documentation procedures
• Ability to work independently in a remote/mobile setting
