Job Summary

Focused on legal writing, the remote California Licensed Law & Motion Attorney will draft and revise substantive motions and contribute to case strategy in complex litigation matters across the state.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and revise substantive motions, oppositions, demurrers, writs, and trial briefs in California state court
• Conduct advanced legal research on issues such as government immunity and institutional liability theories
• Assist in developing case strategy and prepare internal memoranda on emerging case law affecting plaintiffs' claims

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar admission
• 3-5+ years of litigation experience with a strong emphasis on legal writing
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, persuasive written work with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with California civil procedure; experience with government liability or plaintiff-side litigation preferred
• Strong interest in advocacy-driven work representing individuals and holding institutions accountable
