Job Summary

To support a boutique California workers' compensation law firm, the part-time California Licensed Legal Assistant will coordinate the QME process, manage medical records, and communicate with various stakeholders in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of the QME process and manage timelines
• Gather, organize, and index medical records while maintaining detailed spreadsheets
• Schedule depositions and prepare necessary notices

Required qualifications:

• Prior experience in California Workers' Compensation is required
• Hands-on experience with Merus is mandatory
• Experience supporting QME matters or medical-legal processes is strongly preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Self-starter who works well independently in a remote environment
