Job Summary
To support a boutique California workers' compensation law firm, the part-time California Licensed Legal Assistant will coordinate the QME process, manage medical records, and communicate with various stakeholders in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of the QME process and manage timelines
- Gather, organize, and index medical records while maintaining detailed spreadsheets
- Schedule depositions and prepare necessary notices
Required qualifications:
- Prior experience in California Workers' Compensation is required
- Hands-on experience with Merus is mandatory
- Experience supporting QME matters or medical-legal processes is strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Self-starter who works well independently in a remote environment
