Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Vice President, Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior legal advisory support across various business teams and manage outside counsel relationships
• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex agreements and implement standardized legal processes
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive transactional legal experience, preferably in both law firm and in-house settings
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating high-value, strategic transactions
• Strong background in commercial contract drafting within the media, entertainment, and technology sectors
