Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Legal Counsel to lead its legal function and manage commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial function, focusing on customer and strategic partner agreements
• Review, draft, and negotiate domestic and international commercial agreements for SaaS-based online fraud prevention services
• Develop processes, tools, and training to scale the legal team and manage relationships with outside counsel

Required Qualifications

• JD required; Bar admission in good standing in at least one US state
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, preferably in B2B SaaS commercial transactions
• Solid understanding of data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
• Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience in online fraud prevention or FinTech is a plus
