Job Summary
Supporting a team of attorneys, the full-time California Licensed Legal Secretary will manage court filings, maintain organized files, and draft legal documents in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Performs court filings, prepares pleadings, and maintains organized files
- Drafts standard pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Coordinates meetings and manages deadlines for assigned attorneys
Required qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience as a legal secretary
- Experience with state and federal court filing procedures in California
- Proficiency in Lexis Nexis, Pacer, ECF, and other legal software
- Accurate typing speed of 65+ wpm
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
