Job Summary

Supporting a team of attorneys, the full-time California Licensed Legal Secretary will manage court filings, maintain organized files, and draft legal documents in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Performs court filings, prepares pleadings, and maintains organized files
  • Drafts standard pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
  • Coordinates meetings and manages deadlines for assigned attorneys
Required qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a legal secretary
  • Experience with state and federal court filing procedures in California
  • Proficiency in Lexis Nexis, Pacer, ECF, and other legal software
  • Accurate typing speed of 65+ wpm
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
