California Licensed Linux Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Engineer to manage and support Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Linux systems throughout their lifecycle, including installation and decommissioning
• Ensure uptime and performance of critical business systems through monitoring and remediation
• Develop automation solutions and support incident management and compliance processes

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Linux Administration within a commercial production environment
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and automation tools like Ansible
• Knowledge of compliance and patch management tools such as Tanium and Qualys
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and AWS configuration and support
