California Licensed Litigation Associate
Job Summary
To support its expanding litigation practice, a California Licensed Litigation Associate will manage a diverse caseload of civil defense matters in a fully remote, hybrid, or in-office flexible work environment, handling cases from inception through resolution and conducting legal research and drafting various legal documents.
Key responsibilities
- Managing multiple cases from inception through resolution
- Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
- Taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparation
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience; defense litigation experience preferred
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Deposition, motion practice, mediation, and trial experience preferred
