Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Litigation Attorney, the full-time remote Associate Attorney will manage various litigation matters including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and breach of contract disputes, overseeing cases from inception to resolution while collaborating with a team and receiving mentorship from experienced partners.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of litigation cases, including legal strategy, drafting pleadings, and conducting discovery
- Argue motions in court, attend mediations, and prepare for trials
- Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel throughout the litigation process
Required qualifications
- Current admission to the California State Bar
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience, including at least one year defending tort claims
- Experience in preparing legal documents and appearing in court
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Proficiency in arguing motions and attending mediations preferred; trial experience is a plus
