Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled California Licensed Litigation Attorney, the fully remote position focuses on legal writing and managing complex litigation matters, including drafting motions and contributing to case strategy for high-stakes cases across California.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and revise substantive motions, oppositions, demurrers, writs, and trial briefs in California state court
- Conduct advanced legal research on issues such as government immunity and institutional liability theories
- Assist in developing case strategy and prepare internal memoranda on emerging case law impacting plaintiffs' claims
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar admission
- 3-5+ years of litigation experience with a strong emphasis on legal writing
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, persuasive written work with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with California civil procedure; experience with government liability or plaintiff-side litigation preferred
- Strong interest in advocacy-driven work representing individuals and holding institutions accountable
