California Licensed Litigation Counsel

Job Summary

To support its direct-to-homeowner solar sales and financing business, the full-time California Licensed Litigation Counsel will provide litigation support, negotiate settlements, and manage outside counsel while collaborating with cross-functional teams, with the position based in Irvine, CA, though remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide litigation support for residential consumer business, including handling attorney demand letters, lawsuits, and regulatory matters
• Negotiate favorable settlements and resolve consumer disputes with opposing counsel
• Strategize offensive litigation plans for recovery of defaulted funds and manage outside counsel on litigation matters

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house handling litigation matters
• Demonstrated leadership ability and a proactive approach to completing assignments with minimal supervision
• Ability to identify material issues and tackle complex legal challenges effectively
• Membership in at least one state bar
