Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Litigation Counsel, the midlevel attorney will work full-time in a remote capacity, managing complex litigation matters for clients in the sports, recreation, hospitality, and adventure industries while ensuring at least 1,000 guaranteed hours annually.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage significant aspects of litigation, including catastrophic injury and liability disputes
- Draft and file substantive motions, including dispositive motions and motions to compel
- Provide timely updates and practical recommendations to clients and colleagues while handling routine inquiries
Required qualifications
- At least 10 years of litigation experience with a strong background in civil litigation
- Licensed to practice in California
- Proficient in legal writing, particularly in drafting various pre-trial motions
- Experience with catastrophic injury, premises liability, or employment defense matters is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple active cases in a fast-paced environment
