California Licensed Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Litigation Paralegal (fully remote opportunity).

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage and organize case files, ensuring documentation is current and precise according to state-specific rules
• Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and exhibits
• Assist with all stages of discovery and trial preparation, including document collection and exhibit creation

Required Qualifications

• Mandatory experience with California legal procedures, court rules, and filing requirements
• 3-5 years of paralegal experience in pre-litigation and/or litigation matters
• Solid understanding of insurance processes, with experience in complex property or insurance disputes preferred
• Proficiency in legal software and document management tools
• Paralegal certification is preferred but not required for candidates with extensive relevant experience
