Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Litigation Paralegal, the full-time remote position focuses on managing California commercial unlawful detainer litigation matters from pre-suit through trial, while coordinating closely with attorneys and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage key aspects of California commercial unlawful detainer and real estate litigation matters, ensuring case progression and tracking procedural requirements
- Prepare and coordinate litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials, while maintaining accurate litigation calendars
- Support discovery and eDiscovery processes, organize case materials for hearings and trials, and provide timely updates to attorneys and clients
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, specifically with California commercial unlawful detainer matters
- Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures and the lifecycle of unlawful detainer cases
- Experience with California court filing, service requirements, and litigation calendaring
- Ability to independently manage multiple active cases and competing deadlines
- Proficient in technology and comfortable working in a primarily electronic, remote environment
